Malaysia suffered an embarassing .....defeat to newcomers Chinese Taipei in the women's kabaddi competition at the Guangzhou Asiad.
The defeat almost certainly destines Malaysia to last spot in Group A of the competition. Malaysia plays group favourites Iran in their final group match.
Chinese Taipei stunned the Malaysians with their quick play in the first half and claimed two lonas.
They led 30-14 at the breather and continued the same pace in the second half. Thailand claimed yet another lona in the late stages of the game and wrapped up a well deserved 48-33 victory.
