Pakistan trumped Malaysia 51-27 in the men's kabaddi competition at the Asian Games in Guangzhou.
Two lonas in the first half and another in the second was enough to see Pakistani getting off to a winning start in the competition.
Pakistan led 29-11 in the first half.
The defeat was expected and the Malaysians must win their next two matches to be in the medal run.
In another Group B match, Japan stunned Bangladesh 15-13.
In the three team Group A competition, Iran eased pass Korea 55-20. With the win, Iran is likely to join India in the semi-finals from the group.
