Kg Pandan denied

Kg Pandan Kabaddi squad were denied the Klang Kabaddi Open title by Sivasangkari. The KL team were edged out 5-6 by their rivals.

Kg Pandan's title hopes were paid put after three of their key players were down with injuries before the final.

Heavy downpour also played a big role in the cautious approach of both teams in the final. The slippery ground affected the performance of players from both teams.

However, Kg Pandan proved they were a team to fear in the future, after their stunning defeat of favourites Sri Devi in the semi-finals.

Sivasangkari, who defeated the Indian expatriate team of Pasum Ponn 21-19 in the semi-final, had lost to Sri Devi in their group matches.

It was a bad day indeed for Sri Devi, who also lost to Pasum Ponn in the playoff for third place.
