KL-KUTTRALAM FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENT
Newly crowned KL International Inter City Kabaddi champions Chennai would be among six teams confirmed for the KL-Kuttralam Friendship Kabaddi Tournament this Friday.
The Chennai team have extended their stay in Kuala Lumpur and would be the star attraction at the tournament to be held on the 12th of April from 7.00pm at the Sri Devi Kabaddi Club Grounds, 14th Mile Puchong.
Entry into the championships is by invitation only. The Kuala Lumpur based clubs confirmed for the championships are Sri Devi, Kg Pandan and Selayang.
All of the state's SUKMA players are expected to participate in the tournament that would help them gain valuable competitive exposure.
Negri Sembilan's Seremban would be the only non-KL team in the tournament.
Chennai is expected to field all their best players at the tournament. Kabaddi fans would get another chance to watch the skills of players like Karnan and Sundara Moorthy (pix above) up close.
With the weight ruling relaxed for the tournament, a number of KL players who missed out on the chance to play at the KL International Inter City Kabaddi Championships would be able to play.
