FT Traditional Sports Carnival

The Federal Territory Traditional Sports Carnival would take place as scheduled on Sunday 21st June 2009 at the University Malaya grounds.

The exact venue would be the Varsity Greens indicated in the map above.

The competition is open to all FT based teams (KL and Putrajaya) and would be for both men and women. The competition would be used to select the state team for the national level Traditional Sports Carnival to be held in Ipoh next month.

The best 10 men and 10 women players would be selected by the KAKL panel of coaches.

There will be no entry fees and teams would be provided with breakfast and lunch. There will be medals and prize money for the winners.

KL based teams are requested to contact KAKL secretary R. Balamurugan for further details.

All teams are expected to report at the UM by 9.30am for the competition.

The FT Sports Department has also included several other activities at the carnival and it would be open to all.

The other competitions confirmed are Galah Panjang, Rebut Negeri, Laga Ayam, Step Aerobik, Fitball, HIp Hop, Lompat Tali, Futsal (Under-12) and five a side netball.

City folks would also get their chance to play for fun and free in various other activities including Paint Ball.
