The Sports Commissioner's office has given the Kabaddi Association of Malaysia (KAM) fourteen days to settle the issues raised against the validity of their General Meeting held on December 14, 2008.
The letter dated 16th February, 2009 Ref. No. PPS 06/01/0703/2000 Jld 2 (6) was in response to the complains made by the Kabaddi Association of Kuala Lumpur (KAKL) and Kabaddi Association of Selangor (KAS) against the national body.
Both state bodies have demanded that the KAM's General Meeting was not held in accordance of the bodies constitution and must be reconvened immediately.
If the KAM does not act in accordance of the constitution and natural justice, KAKL would consider taking legal action against the body.
